{Goal Post} 2016 Bookish Resolutions Challenge

It’s time for a brand new challenge for the New Year: 2016 Bookish Resolutions Challenge hosted by Laura @ trips down imagination road and Michelle @Because Reading.
You can sign up HERE anytime between December 1st to March 1st, the challenge starts January 1st and ends December 31st. The 2016 Bookish Resolutions Challenge is about setting New Years Resolutions for books and book blogging.

This will be my first year participating in this challenge. I normally do a bookish resolutions post in January every year. I don’t always meet my goals, and I’m hoping joining the challenge will help to keep me on track, especially with my personal goal.

Reading Goals:
*Binge Read A Series
*Participate in a buddy or group read
*Read 15 Netgalley and/or Edelweiss books I already have prior to 2016
*Get My Netgalley to 80%
*Read at least 1 classical novel
*Read at least 1 historical fiction book
*Read at least 1 library book a month
*Conquer my Goodreads reading goal for the year (I’ve missed it two years in a row)

Blogging Goals:
*Post at least 2 book reviews per week
*Do a guest post for another blog
*Visit and comment on 3 blogs per week
*Take part in a meme every month for the whole year (not including ones I host)

Personal Goals:
*Lower my blood sugar
*Go on a vacation (preferably one that includes a book festival)
*Write everyday whether it is a journal entry, poetry, short story, etc.

Those are my goals for 2016. I have quite a few reading goals, but I’m hoping I can achieve the majority of them. I think the hardest challenges I’ve given myself will be lowering my blood sugar levels, and writing every single day. What are your resolutions for 2016? Is anyone interested in doing a buddy read with me? Let me know in the comments section.

Good Luck and happy reading!
