My Week In A Nutshell

My Week In A Nutshell 2/28/16

Happy Sunday book nerds! I hope you all had a great week and weekend. My work week was insane so I was so ready to sleep in on Saturday. I ended up crawling out of bed around noonish. I only read two books this week, not good at all. I’m actually surprised I even read the two books given how hectic my week was, to be honest. I did not read anything on Saturday. Instead, I binged season 1 of Fuller House on Netflix. Talk about a blast from the past, that show gave me all the FEELS. Here’s what happened this week…

I read two romances this week. I got Reaper’s Fall by by Joanna Wylde from my library via my OverDrive app. This installment of the Reaper’s Motorcycle Club series revolved around Painter and Melanie. I am not sure if I’m just over the whole MC romance genre or what, but this one fell a bit short from being a satisfying read for me. It was still a quick and fun escape from reality, but the timeline of the plot was just all over the place.

Sugar Daddy by Lisa Kleypas was part of my February BookOutlet haul. This is the first book in the Travis Family series by Lisa Kleypas. I wanted to read it after reading Brown-Eyed Girl for review a few months ago. I am absolutely loving this series. Kleypas’ characters are complex and stay with you long after you read the last page. I need to get my hands on the second  and third book since I’ve read book 1 and 4 now. I will do a more in depth and spoiler free review soon. I love Kleypas, if you haven’t read any of her books I highly recommend you do. I’ve yet to find one I didn’t like, even the historical romances which is not a genre I usually read.

That’s my week in a Nutshell! Have you read any of the books featured here in my post? How was your week? Let me know in the comments!

Stay book nerdy my friends! Happy reading 🙂

    1. It was funny and seeing the cast again was pretty great. There are some cheesy nods to the original show but I really enjoyed it.
