Blogging Challenges, Reading Challenges

Resolutions Challenge hosted by Laura @ trips down imagination road and Michelle @Because Reading.
You can sign up HERE anytime between December 1st to March 1st, the challenge starts January 1st and ends December 31st. The 2016 Bookish Resolutions Challenge is about setting New Years Resolutions for books and book blogging.

2016 is over! It wasn’t the worst year for me but it wasn’t exactly great. Time to ‘fess up and show you what I managed to accomplish and the stuff I didn’t get around to finishing.

First, I’d just like to say that I did better than I thought I would. I have this really bad habit of over achieving and then feeling like crap when I don’t manage to do what I set out to do. Hmm…I’m thinking there might be an idea for a personal goal in that somewhere. Anyway, on with the results!

Reading Goals:
Binge Read A Series
Participate in a buddy or group read
Read 15 Netgalley and/or Edelweiss books I already have prior to 2016
*Get My Netgalley to 80%
Read at least 1 classical novel
Read at least 1 historical fiction book
Read at least 1 library book a month
*Conquer my Goodreads reading goal for the year (I’ve missed it two years in a row)

Blogging Goals:
*Post at least 2 book reviews per week
*Do a guest post for another blog
*Visit and comment on 3 blogs per week
*Take part in a meme every month for the whole year (not including ones I host)

Personal Goals:
Lower my blood sugar
Go on a vacation (preferably one that includes a book festival)
*Write everyday whether it is a journal entry, poetry, short story, etc.

As you can see I didn’t manage any of my blogging goals, sad I know. I did get most of my reading goals accomplished though, so there is that. Did you participate in the challenge? How’d you do? Let me know in the comments!
