#springintohorror wrap-up

spring into horror rat

Hi book nerds! Spring Into Horror readathon hosted by Seasons of Reading was one of the month-long reading challenges I participated in April. I love this readathon because it is very laid back. There is only one challenge to be met and that is to read at least one scary book. Which is totally my jam. Horror, suspense-thrillers, psychological thrillers, etc. Ah, these are some of my favorite things. I love it when a book messes with my head and gets my blood pumping. So, of course, I killed it! I finished 17 books during this challenge.

Here are the books I read:

5 stars –

4 stars –

3 stars –

2 stars – 29589074

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with how I did for this round of Spring Into Horror. I would have liked to complete at least one more book but I ran out of time. Many of the books I read during this round also doubled up for my challenges for the O.W.L.S. Readathon. I will be posting my wrapup for that challenge soon so keep an eye out for that.

Let’s chat down below. Did you participate in the Spring Into Horror? How many books did you get to read this month?

As always keep on reading and stay book nerdy my friends!

  1. I was lucky enough to read a book that gave me the chills annnnd made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside too (haha). Romantic thrillers/suspense is by far my favorite genre and I think definitely fits into this challenge. The book is called “To Have and To Hold” by Ketley Allison. The book follows the kidnapping of Emme and it really puts the reader in her position. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time thinking “What would I do if I was Emme?” Little does she know that someone from her past is doing everything he can to find her. . They are really likable characters and this is a GRIPPING book. I was also pleased I happened upon this author because she has other books out that I’m excited to read as well. Check out her website:
Hope you check her out! She’s a great suspense writer for sure. Thanks again for your list!
