GOOD-BYE MAY | HELLO JUNE 2018 – Books and Scribbles

Hi book nerds! Can you believe it is June already? I don’t know if I’m ready for the summer heat here in AZ. I might just melt away. I’m doing my best to stay indoors and stay hydrated. Enough about the weather though, let’s chat about how May went and my plans for June.

Let’s go ahead and dive into my May wrap up first.

May 2018

Books DNF’d: 3

Books Read: 10

I participated in two readathons in May; Bout of Books, and Borrowathon. I returned as a co-host for BorrowAthon round 4. I had so much fun with the Twitter sprints. You can check out my wrap-ups for each readathon on my booktube channel.

Many of the books I read this month were borrowed audio books I checked out from my library either through my Libby or Hoopla apps. I did manage to get some of my owned books read though, so here is my updated total for the DW Project.

Now let’s talk about my reading plans for June. I am hoping to get at least 2 books read off of my Summer TBR. You can check out my Summer TBR video below.

I’m also planning on participating in this summer round of #COYER. You can find my sign up post here. The only other readathon I have planned to join in at this time is the #ReadYourFaceOff 24 readathon for June. I will post a TBR for that readathon on my Instagram. I have not decided whether I will do a vlog yet.

Speaking of, the #ReadYourFaceOff group reads for June have been announced. You can check out my blog post here for all the information needed to join us.

I have been doing quite a bit of pre-planning for both the blog and channel over the last month or so. I have quite a few scheduled posts already under my belt so keep an eye out. I’m trying to avoid having long gaps between posts like I have had in the last few months. Life gets busy but I want both my blog and my Youtube channel to have a more consistent posting schedule starting in June.
