Blogging Challenges

#BlogAhead2018 Midpoint Check-In

Hey friends! We are halfway through this round of Blog Ahead. I can’t believe how fast October is flying by. I think the month feels so short because I spent the first week of October on vacation at Disneyland. Which, of course, means I started this challenge a week late compared to everyone else. I’m not going to let that hold me back though and will keep blogging away up to the last minute.

Since we are at the midpoint of the challenge I thought I’d check in and let you know how I’m doing this round. I’m not going to share what the posts are about but I’ll let you know where I am with my stats.

Posts drafted – 12 (all Blogmas)

Posts scheduled – 10 (a mix of posts for November and Blogmas)

I was very worried when I started the challenge because I didn’t really have any ideas of what I wanted to work on. I just knew I need to set up posts for November and December because the end of the year is usually very busy for me between work, my birthday, and the holidays. Ideas just poured out of me though once I started blogging so I did a couple of brain dump sessions and I think I might have enough ideas to have posts done for the rest of the year. That’s not even counting the book reviews I need to finish.

Are you participating in Blog Ahead? How are you doing with the challenge? The hardest part for me is getting motivated to sit down and do my book reviews. Reviews are not necessarily difficult for me but more work goes into writing them over other posts. Let me know down in the comments if you agree or not.

As always stay book nerdy & happy reading my friends 🙂
