My Week In A Nutshell

My Week In A Nutshell 02/07/21

Hi friends! I hope your first week of February went well. Mine was pretty busy between work and trying to declutter my closet. I figured that was a good place to start with since it is a hot mess. I did manage to squeeze in some relaxation time here and there to get some reading in. I finished three books this week. What? Who dis? Yes, I said three. It felt awesome, even though not a single one was a five star read. Two were pretty close though so not too bad.

Aside from work, cleaning/decluttering, and reading, I did catch up on all the episodes available on Discovery+ for Ghost Adventures, Kindred Spirits, and Ghost Nation. I’m absolute trash for those shows. The crew on each show crack me up.

I’ve been doing my best to get through the teas I’ve received from my Sips by subscription. I’ve been loving the selections that have been curated for me so far. This week I drank the two different breakfast teas I recieved. I prefer the taste of the one from Ahmad Tea over Stash personally but they are both quite good if you are looking for something to get yourself going in the morning. My favorite tea this week is the Vanilla Apple Hibiscus tea from The Republic of Tea. I drink it cold and unsweetened. It’s sweet enough as is so you really don’t have to add anything to it. I do have a referral link if you are interested in checking out Sips by, just click here.

I’ve also been cooking for myself more. One of my goals is to use Door Dash less and go back to meal prepping. It’s not only healthier but friendlier on my budget. I have goals and I know I can achieve them as long as I just keep at it. I just need to take it one day at a time so I don’t overwhelm myself and quit.

Let’s jump into what I read and watched this week!

Books Read:

Books Currently Reading:

That would be a big fat zilch. I am currently in between books at the moment. I do have two other advanced reader copies that I need to read in February but they are romance. They were all romance and I’m feeling the need to read something different. I might start a non-fiction book or maybe a suspense thriller before I jump back into the romance books. Too much of one genre tends to make me not want to read at the moment.

This week on my YouTube channel:

That’s it for this week’s My Week In A Nutshell. What have you been reading or watching lately? Have you read any of the books I featured in today’s post? Do you have any TV shows or movies you can recommend for me to add to my watchlist? I’m also down for some true crime documentaries if you have any to recommend.

Take care and I’ll chat with you all in the comments!

Lots of love,
