My Week In A Nutshell

My Week In A Nutshell 01/16/22

Hi friends! I hope that 2022 is treating you well so far. I have been keeping busy with trying to read all the chonky books on my TBR and keeping up with my social media. Well and work of course but you know priorities. Am I right? Just kidding! I have been reading quite a bit though. The best part is five out of the nine books I’ve read so far this month are five star reads. I mean…like wow. I’ll go into that some more when I do my mid-month check in this coming week.

I think what has helped my motivation to read has been the live reading sprints I’ve been joining and the great reading challenges I’m participating in. The combination of these has really helped to rekindle the joy of reading for me. Which is such a blessing after having gone through that long reading slump I was in during 2020 – 2021. This in turn means more bookish content here on the blog and on my channel. Yay! Lots to look forward to and I’ll ride this momentum as long as I can.

Let’s jump into what I read and watched this week!

What I’ve been watching:

I haven’t really watched anything lately. There are shows I want to catch up on but right now I’m spending my free time with my nose stuck in a book. Once I get around to it though some shows on my radar are: Wheel of Time, Season 2 of The Witcher, and Boba Fett’s show on Disney+.

This week on the blog:

The Children on the Hill by Jennifer McMahon | ARC Review

Tilly and The Bookwanderers by Anna James | Book Review

A History of Wild Places by Shea Ernshaw | ARC Review

This week on my YouTube channel:

That’s it for this week’s My Week In A Nutshell. What have you been reading or watching lately? Have you read any of the books I featured in today’s post? Do you have any TV shows or movies you can recommend for me to add to my watchlist? I’m also down for some true crime documentaries if you have any to recommend.

Take care and I’ll chat with you all in the comments!

Lots of love,
