WWW Wednesday 04/06/22

Hi friends! It’s WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. To participate you just answer the three Ws.

  • What have you read?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What will you read next?

What have you read?

Aurora Rising was the March group read for my Patreon. I loved the action driven plot and the snarky humor. In April we are reading Gallant by V.E. Schwab. If you’d like to join us there is still time. Click here for more info about my Patreon and how to participate.

I received Reckless Girls in my March BOTM box. I picked it because the cover caught my eye and the description sounded like this would be fun read. It was definitely a quick one but overall the book was just okay. It was a bit disappointing to guess some of the plot twists before they happened. I did enjoy that it was told in dual timelines and I liked the ending.

Lady Midnight is a reread for me. I decided this year I was finally going to catch up where I left off but didn’t remember anything that happened in LM so I needed to read it again. I’m glad that I did because so much happens to set up this spinoff series and I would be so lost if I just jumped into the next book. Have you read this one? What are your thoughts on it compared to the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series?

What are you currently reading?

I’m reading The Lost Apothecary with my friend Johanna. You can find her on YouTube here. We are both participating in the Magical Readathon Orilium challenge and she needed to read this one for one of her courses. I wanted to read it since one of my goals for the year is to read my BOTM books because they are starting to take over my TBR shelves. I’m currently on page 169. To my audiobook lovers this is available on Scribd at this time. If you are interested in Scribd you can help support the blog by using my referral link. It gets you

I was blessed to get approved the review copy of Shadow Fallen. This is one of my most anticipated releases for the year. Yes, we STAN Sherrilyn Kenyon here. She is queen! I’m on chapter 20 and oh my god I think she’s going to hurt my FEELS. I really hope Kenyon puts me back together again after she breaks me.

I finished Kingdom of the Wicked earlier this year and after that ending I need to find out what happens next. I just started this one so I don’t have much to say at the moment. I’ll share my thoughts when I finish it.

What will you read next?

In typical Andie fashion I have very ambitious reading plans for April. I’m attempting the Godseer calling for Orilium and trying to catch up on Fablen. I fell behind in March with everything that was going on personal life wise I just decided to put reading challenges on the back burner. I also totally failed the Spring into Readathon Bingo Challenge I had wanted to try. All that to say I have a TBR this month of around 13 books and I’ve completed 4 so far. These three are the ones that are up next on my list but any of the books from my TBR for the month could be up next as well depending on my mood.

As always keep on reading and stay book nerdy my friends!

Lots of love,
